ABSENT FRIENDS
Oh, Firefly. That wonderful show. Talented actors and crew. Artists and creators. And, especially the fans. We are all bonded by another f-word. No, not THAT word. We're talking about family.
This page might not be that much, but we want to use it to dedicate this website to the memory of those people who've passed away. People we've known, loved and admired from the global Firefly family.
Guys and gals, this one is for you.

PETER BIRD
First off, on a very personal note, we want to remember Peter Bird, a dear friend who was taken from us way too early to play RPGs, drink lots of beer and take loads of photos in some otherworldly 'Verse on Saturday 7th March 2015. Pete was easily the biggest supporter of us in the early days, offering countless expensive and rare items he had bought himself for Firefly Store to sell and offer as prizes to help various charities and those less fortunate. He even helped us mutilate a few toys in aid of our LEGO Reavers thing.
Totally generous to a fault, he was a wonderful guy whose friends enjoyed his company immensely. Thinking about it now, they perhaps enjoyed it more than they realised at the time, when it is sadly too late.
With misbehavin'-style wit and one of the few people to claim an understanding and appreciation of Steve's esoteric jokes - he will be sadly, sadly missed for many reasons. Even though he once said that Farscape was almost as good as Firefly. But we'd like to think he was only messing with us.
RIP dear friend. We'll keep on flyin'.

Ron Glass
And now, Pete has sadly been joined by one of the Firefly crew - the amazingly lovely and generously-hearted Ron Glass, who went to the Abbey in the sky on Saturday 26th November 2016.
Absolutely gutted.
We feel so blessed to have met him several times and worked with him at convention events - each time a real pleasure. He helped the charities, loved the fans, loved his fellow actors and was basically a lovely, lovely man.

And...
Would you like to say a few words about someone in the fandom, family member or friend who is no longer with us? If so, we'd love to help in some small way to celebrate and recognise their love of Firefly as part of their life. Even if it is just a mention on our little website here. Please feel free to get in touch.
