FIREFLY FLUXX
Back in the early days of Firefly store (we're talking 2005-2006) we ran a huge Big Damn Draw across the world. Raising oodles of cash for several charities, we had lots of donated prizes and a fantastic time was had by all. Well, one lovely fella by the name of Adam Levermore was, at the time, a burning beacon in the heartland of Browncoat activism. He was a talented illustrator, designer, businessman and fan - and he even did our Big Damn Draw poster for that year too. Anyhow, enough of the history schmistory.
Imagine then, how thrilled we were to discover that he's got involved with the ubiquitous gaming franchise, Fluxx. The artwork looks great and the mechanics from Looney Labs really keep your attention. Well, they should do as you'll be playing cards to change the order and rules of future turns as part of the game. It sounds nuts but it works. And to be honest, for under £15/$15 it's worth it for the art and Firefly references alone. But we did really like the Fluxx experience. Maybe it's time to check out one of the other 3,722 variants*.
*Not strictly true. We hope.

- Number of players: 2-6
- Favourite bits: The cutesy, quirky artwork. And the fact that every card is bang on theme. Oh and it's ultra portable too.
- We say: Never played Fluxx before? Neither had we, but we grabbed this anyhow. It's very random but, set in the Verse, it's great fun.
- Anything else: With the chop-changing rules and flow, be prepared for either a quick win, or a looooong attempt. Just so ya know.
- Browncoat rating: 7.0
As mentioned on the introduction page, we're not going to be completing detailed reviews of any Firefly related games, as there are loads of great ones out there already. Instead, we've tried to be helpful to both potential buyers and existing owners of this game.
We've got links to online reviews, helpful guides and other downloads that add to the gaming experience. Plus, there's also a really great 'how to play' video from one of our YouTube faves.

WHERE TO BUY IT
We sometimes have copies for sale at trade shows (and occasionally in our store) and you may well see it at your Friendly Local Game Store. But, for all things Firefly, we tend to find that Amazon is often the cheapest place to get things from in our opinion.
So, if you'd like to help us to keep on doing what we do, as well as support our charities - please consider clicking on the links below and purchasing directly. We'll get a few pennies towards our mission - and you'll get your game. We've added links for the UK and US versions of Amazon, depending on preference. We are so grateful to anyone who supports us and our charities in this way. You rock.

We like this quick video from Let's Level Up. Lots of close up shots. There's other videos out there on YouTube and Google, natch.
