FIREFLY MONOPOLY
Yeah, we've got Monopoly listed here. It has a really bad rep amongst modern gamers who've been used to playing fantastic modern designer board games: dripping with theme, immersion, cool mechanics and, most of all... skill and strategy instead of plain old luck.
There is an element of strategy in the base game of Monopoly (especially if you play the correct rules) but it's not especially deep or innovative. Certainly by today's standards. But then, like Firefly Clue, sticking a great theme on it seems to do wonders. Nice fan friendly flavour text on cards, lovely artwork and cool components means it feels like a different game.
It's never going to be as exciting and immersive as some of the other Firefly games out there, but it's darned accessible. For us, it's a worthy addition to our gaming collection - and something we certainly pull out to play with casual gaming Browncoats and family alike.
And as far as birthday or holiday gifts go, it's one to bear in mind for that special Firefly fan you know.

As mentioned on the introduction page, we're not going to be completing detailed reviews of any Firefly related games, as there are loads of great ones out there already. Instead, we've tried to be helpful to both potential buyers and existing owners of this game.
We've got links to online reviews, helpful guides and other downloads that add to the gaming experience. Plus, there's also a really great 'how to play' video from one of our YouTube faves. Finally, to join the reviewing scene briefly, here are a few thoughts from us:
- Number of players: 2-6
- Favourite bits: The ship tokens for sure. And the fun Firefly twists on the cards. And the 'property' sets. Okay, all the components.
- We say: If you can find this for a decent price (and you should do) then grab a copy, even if you never play it. It really looks lovely.
- Anything else: If you're a Browncoat and a completist, it's a must have. It's a worthwhile addition for any fan's collection, actually.
- Browncoat rating: 6.0

WHERE TO BUY IT
We sometimes have copies for sale at trade shows (and occasionally in our store) and you may well see it at your Friendly Local Game Store. But, for all things Firefly, we tend to find that Amazon is often the cheapest place to get things from in our opinion.
So, if you'd like to help us to keep on doing what we do, as well as support our charities - please consider clicking on the links below and purchasing directly. We'll get a few pennies towards our mission - and you'll get your game. We've added links for the UK and US versions of Amazon, depending on preference. We are so grateful to anyone who supports us and our charities in this way. You rock.

HOW TO PLAY
Most people know how to play Monopoly. Well, there's still a few out there playing their own (wrong) rules.
But hey. Here is a nice unboxing video of the game from our lovely Browncoat friends at Nerd Barrage:
